New Mayor Steve Bennett  had brought several major changes to the Town of Quartzsite's Council meetings, held bi-weekly Tuesday evenings at the Town Hall.

Among them, the Town hall meetings no longer entaiedl a brief three-minute timeframe for speakers to bring before the council an issue of concern... 

Today, that rule has been altered dramatically as Quartzsite has seen a series of successive changes since Bennett's departure, in spite of strong public opposition.
